Hi! I'm Makoto (on the left). I'm originally from Fukui. But I moved to Osaka for college. I'm living on my own now. My hometown, Fukui, is a snowy region and we have a lot of snow every winter. I love snowboarding so much. Yum-yum snow!
What should we do to achieve affluence equally for the people throughout the world? Thinking carefully about the people living in dire poverty and the solutions to the problems of poverty such as "microcredit" and "fair trade", economics transforms its own the static edifice of knowledge into a dynamic community of knowledge. I've learned it through Boyles' seminar, and moreover I studied about the history of economics that has developed as a means to fertilize our cultural lives. What am I studying economics for? It is important for each of us to find the raison d'etre of our seminar.
Peace!
